01 Return Policy & Process
Make IT Go is primarily a services business. From time to time we procure and resell physical hardware (such as computers, networking equipment, and servers) on behalf of clients. The following terms apply to those physical goods.
Eligibility
- Return window: Eligible new, unopened hardware may be returned within 30 days of delivery.
- Condition: Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and include all accessories, cables, and documentation.
- Defective or damaged items: If hardware arrives defective or is damaged in transit, contact us within 7 days of delivery for a replacement or full refund at no cost to you.
Non-returnable items
- Custom-configured, special-order, or made-to-order equipment.
- Software licenses, subscriptions, and digital activations once issued or redeemed.
- Opened consumable items, and hardware that has been installed, racked, or configured.
- Items returned after the 30-day window or without prior authorization.
How to return an item (RMA)
- Email support@makeitgo.io with your invoice number and the item(s) you wish to return to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).
- We will provide return instructions and a shipping address. Do not ship items back without an RMA number.
- Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of our receiving and inspecting the returned item.
Pass-through manufacturer warranties. Hardware we resell is covered by the manufacturer's warranty. After the return window, warranty claims are handled directly through the manufacturer; we're glad to assist you in coordinating them.
Shipping & restocking
For non-defective returns, original shipping charges are non-refundable and return shipping is the customer's responsibility. A restocking fee of up to 15% may apply to opened, non-defective hardware. Defective items are returned and replaced at our expense.
02 Refund & Dispute Policy
Services
Fees for managed IT, support, project, and professional services that have already been delivered are non-refundable. Because these services are performed and consumed over time, refunds are not provided for time and work already rendered. To stop future charges, see our Cancellation Policy below.
- Prepaid periods: If you prepay for a service period and cancel mid-term, the current period is non-refundable; billing simply stops at the end of the period in accordance with the notice terms below.
- Project work: Fixed-scope project deposits are non-refundable once work has begun. Unstarted, prepaid project fees may be refunded if cancelled before work commences.
- Billing errors: If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 60 days of the charge and we will promptly investigate and correct any verified error.
Hardware & products
Refunds for physical goods are governed by the Return Policy above.
Disputes & chargebacks
We want every billing question resolved quickly and fairly. Please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer — most issues are resolved within one business day.
- Email billing@makeitgo.io or call +1 (435) 414-5210 with your invoice number and a description of the issue.
- We will acknowledge your dispute within 2 business days and work toward a resolution, including a corrected invoice or refund where warranted.
- If a chargeback is filed, we will provide the card network with documentation of the services or goods provided and the agreed terms.
03 Cancellation Policy
Managed IT and recurring support plans are billed on a month-to-month basis unless your service agreement states otherwise.
- Notice: Either party may cancel with 30 days' written notice. Service continues, and standard fees apply, through the end of the 30-day notice period.
- How to cancel: Send written notice to support@makeitgo.io, or through your client portal. We will confirm your cancellation date in writing.
- Final billing: Your final invoice covers services through the end of the notice period. Charges for periods already served are non-refundable (see Refunds).
- Offboarding: We will work with you to hand off documentation, credentials, and configurations for a smooth transition. Outstanding balances must be settled before final data and credential handover.
If you are on a fixed-term or annual agreement, the cancellation and renewal terms in that signed agreement govern and supersede the month-to-month terms above.
04 Legal & Export Restrictions
Make IT Go LLC is based in Utah, United States, and provides services primarily within the United States.
- Sanctions & embargoes: We do not sell or provide products or services to individuals or entities in countries or regions subject to U.S. sanctions or embargoes (including, for example, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions), or to any party on a U.S. government restricted-party list (such as the OFAC SDN list).
- Export controls: Hardware, software, and technical services may be subject to U.S. export control laws (including the EAR). You agree not to export, re-export, or transfer any product or service obtained from us in violation of those laws.
- Lawful use: Our services may only be used for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Governing law: These policies and any related agreements are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
These policies are part of, and should be read together with, your service agreement and any applicable statement of work. Where a signed agreement conflicts with this page, the signed agreement controls.
